The July 14, 2026 speaker will be Dr. Shawn Domagal-Goldman, Director of NASA’ Astrophysics Division at NASA HQ, whose presentation will be “NASA Astrophysics Portfolio and Plans”.
Dr. Shawn Domagal-Goldman is the Director of the NASA’s Astrophysics Division at NASA HQ. NASA Astrophysics uses space-based observatories to answer some of the biggest questions in science: How does the Universe work? How did we get here? And are we alone? Our missions include the James Webb Space Telescope, the soon-to-launch Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, and the Habitable Worlds Observatory concept. Shawn is trained as an astrobiologist, and he leads the division with a multidisciplinary systems perspective in a teams-based leadership framework.
